Finding My Voice:

My Unique Social Justice Journey

In culmination of my Community Action and Social Change (CASC) Minor, my capstone course allowed me to contxtualize my experiences throughout college as a social justice advocate and change agent.  This project critically reflects on my social justice journey and connects my experiences at the university to my personal life.  I wanted to make this project more creative than just writing a paper, so I chose to map out my social justice journey in a Prezi in order to better see and reflect on who I have become through CASC.  I integrated my experiences and focused more on the self-authorship of finding my own voice, which has always been a struggle for me growing up and entering dialogue spaces.   I feel extremely proud of the Prezi that I completed, as I feel it represents who I am very well, and gives meaning to the work that I have done on campus and in different communities.  I plan to use this in the future as a way to continue to follow updates on my social justice path, and remind myself that my voice does matter, and that all voices deserve to be heard.
